Many slabs have such problems as the uneven surface, the different thicknesss and low brightness which have influenced the domestic slabs’ quality for a long time. Because the slab cut by the disc saw cannot be very even, the hand polisher goes following the rough surface, and the pressure is not high and even enough, the slab is always not even and bright enough. To solve the problem, people should start from improving the processing machines. There are two methods of improving the processing technology: one is increasing the technology of determing thickness, that is, using the Thickness Determing Machine to even the rough surface of the slab, then polishing it with resin millstones, though the method has a good effect, the processing cost increases by 6-10 yuan per square meter; The other is using Single-Headed Automatic Polisher to polish the slabs, and this way has a good effect－the slab is even and bright, and the production increases. This machine helps to promote domestic stones’grade.
